KARACHI: Road project

KARACHI, Dec 11: Sindh Planning and Development Minister Syed Shoaib Ahmed Bukhari on Thursday inaugurated a road reconstruction scheme proposed by MNA, Dr Qadir Khanzada, for Orangi Town constituency, NA-242, under Tameer-e-Pakistan Programme.

Under the scheme, reconstruction of two roads, one from Nadeem Medical Store to House No 110, Qasba Colony, and the other from Kali Pahari to Muhammadi Masjid Qasba, will be undertaken at an estimated cost of Rs1.8 million.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said this was the eighth development scheme initiated in Orangi/Qasba, in the last four months, proposed by Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s elected men, out of which, the two had been completed, while work on the remaining was continuing at an accelerated pace.—PPI
