JACOBABAD, Dec 5: A powerful time bomb went off at the main bazaar of Sohbatpur, Jafferabad district, Balochistan, on Friday as a result of which one shop was totally destroyed and three others were damaged.

However, there were no casualties as all the shops were closed.

The bomb was kept in a basket in front of the shop of Rochal Mal which was why it was totally destroyed.

Later, the DIG, Akhtar Hussain, arrived with a bomb disposal squad. The squad said that it was a time bomb weighing 3lbs.

The police registered a case against unidentified persons.
