Four of a family die in accident

NAWABSHAH, Dec 5: Four members of a family, including three children, died while 13 others were seriously injured when a Nawabshah-bound mini truck hit a parked truck on Friday morning.

The mini truck (GX-5417) coming from Karachi hit the truck (GLT-8030) on the National Highway near Sakrand as a result Kiran, 5, daughter of Bagh Ali, Ramiz, 4, son of Bagh Ali, Danish, 3, son of Mehboob, and a woman, Paras, 50, wife of Shahbaz, died on the spot while 13 others were injured.

Those injured were identified as Zahoor Ahmed, Abdullah, Bashir Ahmed, Mohammad Hashim, Ghulam Murtaza, Talib Hussain, Mohammad Ramzan, Abdul Ghafoor, Mohammad Sadiq, Qasmoo, Haleema, Nisha Bibi and Bilqees, all Khokhars by caste.

The victim family had gone to Karachi to bring the dead body of Hanifa who expired in Karachi and returning back to the Khushal Khokhar village on the Daur-Haberi road.

The injured were admitted to the People’s Medical College Hospital. The bodies were shifted to Khushal Khokhar village.
