HYDERABAD: JSQM activist killed

HYDERABAD, Dec 5: A motorcyclist shot dead an activist of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, Abdul Khaliq Khaskheli, in Tando Mohammad Khan on Friday.

According to the Tando Mohammad Khan police station, Abdul Khaliq Khaskheli and his brother, Abdul Shakoor Khaskheli, were standing near the Makki Masjid Chowk when an acquaintance, Mushtaq, asked them to stop some motorcyclists who were pursuing him.

Khaliq and his brother intercepted the motorcyclists. One of the latter opened fire with a pistol killing Khaliq on the spot.

The police said that the motorcyclists had been arrested and obtained a four-day remand in police custody.
