Azad Kashmir APHC hails peace moves


ISLAMABAD, Dec 2: Azad Kashmir chapter of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has hailed the latest moves of Islamabad which it says have given rise to the hopes that these may pave the way for a durable solution to the Kashmir issue.

The moves, according to Kashmir Media Service, were hailed here on Tuesday at an APHC meeting.

APHC convener Muhammad Farooq Rehmani presided over and the representatives of all its constituent organizations attended the meeting.

Participants expressed full satisfaction on the assurances held out by President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali.

They urged the world community to work out a solution of the Kashmir issue keeping in view the aspirations of Kashmiris, besides those of India and Pakistan.—APP
