HYDERABAD, Dec 2: The DCO has expressed concern over the delay in completing Khushhal Pakistan Programme schemes and the substandard material used in the works.

DCO Mohammad Hussain Syed was visiting Kohisar areas of Latifabad here on Tuesday where he inspected incomplete KPP schemes of sewerage drains and water supply lines.

He directed the officers concerned to complete the schemes in the shortest possible time and ensure quality in the works.

He said material used in construction works would be checked in laboratories.

Hyderabad Development Authority director general Ali Ahmad Lund, Water and Sanitation Agency managing director Tahir Ahmad, local government department superintending engineer Mohammad Siddiq Jalalani, and EDO, works and communication, Abdul Rehman Memon accompanied the DCO.
