Blast suspects held

KARACHI, Dec 2: Police on Tuesday detained several persons for questioning in connection with the Monday night blast. An explosion had rocked the Madina Shopping Mall.

Sources in the investigation police told Dawn that police picked three watchman and owner of the shop where the blast occurred. Police said that shop owner Ishtiaq was being grilled by the police.

Senior police officials said that after the completion of building construction in 1997, Mr Yaseen Memon had given over the possession to the people, who had booked shops and flats in the building.
