KARACHI: History was made on the Karachi Stock Exchange on Monday after the index posted a record single-session increase of 195 points or five per cent boosted by the recent peace initiatives and positive response from India and perceptions of normalization of relations between the two neighbours.

Bulls breached through the two psychological barriers of 4,100 and 4,200 just in one-go and finished at 4,263.07 points.
