LFO issue would be resolved: Shujaat

Published November 30, 2003

ISLAMABAD, Nov 29: Pakistan Muslim League President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said on Saturday that the issue of the Legal Framework Order would be resolved amicably after his return to the country.

According to PML sources, he was talking to party workers in London.

He said that despite his stay abroad, the PML was in touch with opposition leaders and he was aware about all the developments.

He said that after the resolution of the LFO issue the opposition would not have any justification for launching a movement against the government.

He said it was a matter of satisfaction for the government that the law and order situation remained satisfactory during Ramazan and on Eidul Fitr.

He would return to the country in a couple of days, sources said.—APP
