PESHAWAR: Four killed over a family dispute

MINGORA, Nov 29: Four people of a family were killed over a domestic dispute in Bar Thana village of Matta tehsil here on Friday night.

Those killed were Sultan Mohammad, brother Sher Mohammad, mother Shah Ezat and a minor girl.

Sultan Mohammad’s wife Mumtaza had left her husband over some differences and was living at her father home.

On Friday, Sultan’s brothers-in-law Bacha Zada and Hazrat Gul entered his home and opened indiscriminate firing over the family. As a result, Sultan and his brother and mother and a minor girl were killed. The police have arrested the accused and started investigation.

Meanwhile, 10 people were injured in two accidents.

Eight people were killed when a Datsun pick-up (PSM-1179) overturned near Mingora.

The injured were identified as Said Ghani, Pir Umer Zada, Riaz, Umer Nawaz, Janat Gul, Mrs Namdara, Fazal Mohammad and Umer Zaman. They were shifted to a hospital. In another accident, Taj Mohammad and his wife Bacha Zameena were seriously injured.
