Easy first round for Mansoor


KARACHI, Nov 25: Pakistani challenger Mansoor Zaman will have bright chance of reach-

ing pre-quarterfinals of next month’s World Open in Lahore as he has got a couple of easy early round matches.

According to the draws of the US$170,000 World Open to be held from Dec 14 to 21, national champion Mansoor Zaman will play against Switzerland’s world number 49 Lars Harms in the first round on Dec 14.

Mansoor, is ranked number 15 in the world and has been seeded number 14 in the 64-man draw.

According to the draws of the World Open announced on Tuesday by the Professional Squash Association (PSA), Mansoor’s likely opponent in the second round could be Olli Tuominen, a world number 24 from Finland.
