ISLAMABAD, Nov 25: Chairman Alliance for Restoration of Democracy and President People’s Party Parliamentarians Makhdoom Amin Fahim met PML-N chief and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Madinah, a source told Dawn here on Monday.
The source said the two leaders stressed the need for enhancing cooperation between the two major parties of the country.
The source said the two leaders discussed the prevailing political situation in the country with reference to the constitutional crisis. They also discussed the issue of the arrest of ARD president and acting PML-N chief Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, the source added.
The source further said that they discussed future plan regarding launching of a agitation movement against the military regime and agreed that the movement should be launched soon after the Eid.
According to the source, the issue of cooperation with the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal was also discussed.
