KARACHI: Falling pole kills man

KARACHI, Nov 25: A young man died and another was injured when an electric pole fell on them on Korangi on Tuesday.

Police said that one Aijaz was injured, while another man who could not be immediately identified died when an electric pole suddenly fell on them near Korangi Medical Centre in the limits of the Zaman Town police station.

The injured was taken to a private hospital for treatment, while the body of the unidentified victim was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, police added.

INJURED: Three persons were injured when a gas cylinder exploded in cooking house at Maulvi Tameezuddin Khan Road on Tuesday.

Police said that the cylinder exploded at the Al-Rehman Biryani House located at M.T. Khan Road.

Fareed, Aziz and Fayyaz, were injured in explosion. They were taken to the JPMC for treatment, police said.
