KARACHI, Nov 25: Four ships carrying coal, crude oil and chemicals are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Bunga Kenari, Min He to unload and load containers, Win Grand, to offload steel coils and Panos-G, to offload crude oil.

Five ships, Iwato, Gizan Glory, Nord Viking, Mary Ann and Nur Yanbu departed on Tuesday, while Min He, Orient Stride, Kota Henning, Bunga Kanari, Westerland and Badulu Valley are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Owing to larger handling of liquid cargo, the total tonnage rose to 0.124m tons comprising 22,125 tons of export cargo and 0.102m tons of import cargo including 68,564 tons of oils.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Johar, with crude oil, Oriental Bouquet, with 4,000 tons of chemicals, Hyundai Highway, with containers and Ocean Sun Rise, with 40,438 tons of coal.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Dominico Ievoli, to load 4,000 tons of ethanol, Cori Thaikos, Kota Intan, Cont Asia, with containers, Denise-E with 42,570 tons of DAP fertilizer and Prince, with general cargo.

The following ships are due on Friday: Al-Maqwa, with high speed diesel, Norasia Malbak, Kota Teraju, Global Progress, Jade Trader, Kota Intan and Iris, with containers.
