PIA operates extra Umra flights

ISLAMABAD, Nov 24: PIA operated a large number of extra flights to facilitate Pakistanis going to Saudi Arabia to perform Umra as well as those coming from various Arab and Middle East countries for celebrating Eid.

According to a press release issued here on Monday, the airline operated an additional 126 flights from September 1st to November 30 for people going to Saudi Arabia for performing Umra. PIA ferried some 40,000 people to different countries. These Extra flights operated from Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar.
