Shawal moon can be sighted tomorrow: Met office


ISLAMABAD, Nov 23: The Meteorological Department forecast on Sunday clear weather for Tuesday evening, and claimed that Shawal moon will be clearly sighted.

According to the Met office, the weather will be clear throughout the country on Tuesday and everyone will be able to see the new moon easily.

Meteorological Department Director-General Dr Qamaruz Zaman will attend the meeting of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee being held here at the federal capital on Tuesday on the special invitation of the Ministry of Religious Affairs to provide technical help and assistance to the committee.

Meanwhile, the meeting of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee will be held here in Islamabad on Tuesday before the sunset under the chairmanship of Maulana Munibur Rehman. The provincial Ruet-i-Hilal committees will also meet in all the provincial headquarters on the same evening to decide about the Shawal moon sighting.—APP
