MPA to record statement

LAHORE, Nov 20: PML-N’s Sheikh Amjad Aziz will record his statement on Dec 8 in an election petition challenging his election as MPA.

The Lahore High Court on Thursday adjourned for Dec 8 the hearing of the petition when it was informed that the MPA could not appear before the court because of sickness.

Haroon Akhtar Khan had submitted that MPA Aziz was not even intermediate but he contested election. He prayed the court to disqualify the MPA as his bachelor’s degree was bogus.—APP
