LAHORE, Nov 19: Newly-appointed Wapda Chairman Tariq Hameed on Wednesday took formal charge of the authority.

Accompanied by former chief Zulfiqar Ali Khan, Mr Hameed had an introductory meeting with Wapda members and also attended a briefing on the organizational structure, main policy thrust of Wapda and recent achievements and improvements in its customer service.

Earlier, Mr Hameed had met the former chairman at the latter’s residence.
