Nawaz condoles ABS Jafri’s death

By Our Staff Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Nov 19: Chief of his own faction of Pakistan Muslim League and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of seasoned journalist ABS Jafri.

In condolence message from Jeddah, issued by the party’s media office here on Wednesday, the PML-N leader said with the death of ABS Jaffery a vacuum had been created in Pakistani journalism, which would be difficult to fill.

He said Mr Jaffery belonged to a select group of journalists, not only in Pakistan but also in the world, who always reported the truth without involving their personal likes and dislikes.

He said Pakistan’s stability, progress and prosperity was the most cherished goal of Jaffery’s life.

Other PML-N leaders, including Raja Zafarul Haq, have also expressed sorrow over the death of A.B.S Jaffery.

WASIM SAJJAD: Leader of the House in Senate, Wasim Sajjad, has expressed grief and sorrow over the death of veteran journalist ABS Jafri, adds APP.

In his message of condolence to the members of the bereaved family, Mr Sajjad paid glowing tributes to ABS Jafri for his valuable contribution in the field of journalism.
