ISLAMABAD, Nov 19: A huge fire broke out at Itwar Bazaar at G-6/1 on Thursday evening, which caused huge losses, the fire department said. However, nobody was reported hurt.

The fire is stated to be erupted at a cloth stall, which extended to the other stalls.

Huge clouds of smoke could be seen from a long distance. The incident was reported to Rescue-15 and fire brigade by a watchman, Bakht Khan.

The fire erupted at around 6:45pm and shortly after spread over the whole Bazaar.

The fire authorises said the fire was extinguished after two and a half hours efforts.

The cause of the fire was not yet confirmed, the fire department said.
