KARACHI, Nov 19: The building adjacent to Dargah Abudllah Shah Ghazi was demolished and encroachments in the premises of the Dargah were removed on Wednesday.

During the operation, a number of stalls were removed while additional space occupied by shopkeepers was also got vacated.

The portions demolished included a fake “Astana” within a courtyard of the shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi, Clifton, and illegal cabins as these were hindering smooth flow of traffic and causing inconvenience to pedestrians.

According to the KBCA, its squad met stiff resistance from occupying persons against whom an FIR was lodged at Clifton Police Station.
