BAGHDAD, Nov 17: Two US soldiers were killed and two others wounded in two separate attacks north of Baghdad on Monday, a US military spokesman said.

One soldier from the Fourth Infantry Division was killed and two others wounded near the town of Balad, 70kms from the capital, after coming under attack with small arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades, he said.

Another soldier who was in a convoy was killed by an improvised explosive device south of Balad, he added. —AFP
