PATIALA, Nov 17: Former Indian Test cricketer-turned-commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu has hailed resumption of cricketing ties between India and Pakistan and welcomed decision of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to send Indian team across the borders for full Test series and one dayers, next year.

India’s former opener said resumption of cricketing ties would bridge the gap between the two countries. Like cultural exchange, sports also helped in removing mutual acrimony among the nations, he added.—PPI
