3 Pakistanis to compete in main round

ISLAMABAD, Nov 17: Three Pakistanis including Mansoor Zaman are to compete in the main round of the $175,000 World Open Squash Championship that is set to begin in Lahore from Dec 12.

The list of 48 for the main draw who will be joined by another 16 players from the qualifying round, also features home players Farrukh Zaman and Shahid Zaman.

All leading players will be on show in the championship among them top seed Peter Nicol of England, Scotland’s John White, Australian David Palmer and Jonathan Power of Canada.

Secretary of the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) Wnd Cdr. Sajid Waheed said that players in the main round cannot now pull out.
