LAHORE, Nov 17: The Punjab government will re-start its campaign to remove tinted glass from vehicles after Nov 20.
An official spokesman said on Monday that strict action would be taken against owners and drivers of vehicles with tinted glass from Nov 21.
The campaign lost its steam around two months ago when a constable stopped the car of a major-general near Ghalib Market in Gulberg and asked the driver to remove the tinted glass.
This resulted in the transfer of the Model Town division SP and ASP, suspension of the Ghalib Market SHO from service, and registration of a criminal case against the constable who had stopped the car. — Reporter
