DPs’ arrests criticized

QUETTA, Nov 17: The Awami National Party, Balochistan, has criticized the arrests of Afghan refugees in the provincial capital and termed the operation un-Islamic and against the local traditions.

In a statement, the Awami National Party condemned the silence of the religious parties on the issue.

It alleged that innocent Afghan refugees were in the past involved in a war in the name of religion to protect the United States interests.—Correspondent
