Pakistan envoy calls on Indian minister


NEW DELHI, Nov 17: Pakistan High Commissioner, Aziz Ahmad Khan on Monday called on Indian Human Resource Development Mini-ster Murli Manohar Joshi and said once the dialogue process starts, chances of interaction in various fields between the two countries will increase.

“It was courtesy call,” Mr told newsmen after a 40-minute meeting with the Pakistan High Commissioner in his office at Shashtri Bhavan.

During the meeting, the Pakistan High Commissioner observed once the dialogue process started between India and Pakistan, the possibilities of extending cooperation and interaction in various fields including education would increase.

Earlier, Pakistan High Commissioner paid courtesy calls on Speaker, Lok Sabha, Manohar Joshi and Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha, Najma Haptulla after New Delhi had granted him permission this month to have meetings with the Indian leaders.—APP
