60 Afghan nationals arrested

CHAMAN, Nov 16: Pakistani border security forces arrested 60 Afghan nationals trying to cross over into Pakistan illegally on Sunday in the wake of tight security measures enforced to stop unlawful border crossing.

Commandant Frontier Corps Chaman Col Abdul Basit Rana said that besides apprehending these Afghans, security forces arrested one Afghan Commander Abdul Mannan two days back along with hand grenades and other armaments from Afghanistan into Pakistan.

He said that Abdul Mannan is suspected of working for Indian secret agency RAW. Further investigation is in progress.—APP
