KARACHI: Woman commits suicide

KARACHI, Nov 16: An unidentified middle-aged woman committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in New Karachi Industrial Area on Sunday.

Police said that they were informed by the residents of Sector 11-F, that a house had been broken in.

The police came and found a woman hanging from the ceiling fan.

Two days ago, the victim and her husband had rented the house, the area people informed.

However, victim’s husband could not be located by the police.

The police shifted the body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for the post-mortem examination.

Later, the body was shifted to the Edhi morgue for identification.

ACCIDENT: A young man died in a road accident at the Beach Avenue, Darakshan, on Sunday.

Police said that Zhoaib, 22, was speeding in his car (AAT-261) at the Beach Avenue, near Do Darya, when it hit an electric pole.

Zhoaib died on the spot while Maheen, 20, who was accompanying got injured in the accident.
