KARACHI, Nov 16: Adviser to the Sindh Chief Minister on Local Government Waseem Akhtar has called for a better working relationship and coordination between the provincial and district governments to provide relief to the people.

He was speaking at an Iftar hosted by the Nazims and Naib Nazims of union councils of the Municipal Administration of Saddar Town on Saturday.

“A better working relationship and coordination should be promoted between the provincial, district governments and towns’ administrations to provide relief and basic facilities to the people”, the minister said.

He said it was also necessary for the success of the local government system in the country.

The minister lauded the development work in Saddar Town carried out by Town Nazim Farooq Memon Fariya during the last two years and assured him of his full support in this regard.
