Kasi’s death anniversary observed

QUETTA, Nov 15: The first death anniversary of Aimal Kasi, who was executed in the United States last year for killing two Central Intelligence Agency agents in 1993, was observed on Saturday.

Hundreds of people, including leaders and workers of various political parties, members of the national and provincial assemblies, former ministers and officials, went to the house of Hamidullah Kasi the elder brother of Aimal Kasi, for Quran Khwani arranged in connection with the anniversary.

He was arrested in Dera Ghazi Khan in 1996 by FBI agents with the help of Pakistani forces and sent to the US, where he was awarded death sentence.
