MANSEHRA, Nov 15: In order to ensure merit and transparency in transferring or posting government officials consultation with respective union council Nazims is mandatory.
This was stated by District Nazim Mansehra Syed Ahmed Hussain Shah while talking to local bodies’ members and government officials at his office here on Thursday.
He said that in the past undue political interference created a sense of deprivation and uncertainty among government servants.
Bearing this in mind and to maintain transparency, decision-making local bodies’ representative were given due importance, he added.—APP
