Easy victory for Aleem Sports

KARACHI, Nov 14: A fine spell of spin bowling by Afaq, enabled Aleem Sports to beat Godhra Sports by a comfortable margin of six wickets in the Ramazan Super Cup played at the Students Sports ground on Saturday.

Godhra Sports put into bat after losing the toss could only manage to reach 107 runs for the loss of nine wickets.

M. Iqbal top scored with 34 runs. Afaq four for 13, and Adam two for 25, caused the batting landslide.

With Shazaib having a quick knock of 42 runs and Afaq excelling with the willow also, with 24 runs to his credit, Aleem Sports were home and dry in 17.4 overs reaching 108 runs for the loss of four wickets.

M. Iqbal had figures of two for 17 for the losers.
