KARACHI, Nov 14: Bilal Friends qualified for the semifinal of the Eighth Danish Trophy Ramazan trophy beating Shaheen Gymkhana by 62 runs on Friday at the KGA ground.

Batting first, Bilal Friends raced to 169 runs for the loss of five wickets in 18 overs with polished knocks from Sheryar (61) and Azeem Mazari (58).

Chasing 170 runs for victory, Shaheen Gymkhana were restricted to 107 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their 18 overs with Arbab Imtiaz scoring 32 and Fouzul Azeem 26. Amir Azam bagged two for 15 for the winners.

Although beaten in their last league match Shaheen Gymkhana also qualified for the semifinals, finishing up as runners-up to Bilal Friends in Group A.
