RAWALPINDI, Nov 14: KRL’s Yasir Arafat showed deadly form on Friday claiming six wickets for 24 runs to send POF crashing to a 165-run defeat in their Patron’s Trophy qualifying round tie at the KRL Stadium.
After deciding to declare their second innings closed at the overnight score of 132 for seven, POF chasing 276 for victory, were skittled out for 110.
At the Army Cricket Ground, the match between ARL and Army ended in a draw with only two balls being bowled because of bad light.
ARL earned three points from the game by virtue of having gained a first innings lead.
