Pakistan, China form economic forum

ISLAMABAD, Nov 14: The Pakistan China Economic Forum (PCEF) with its headquarter in Islamabad and sub-offices in other parts of Pakistan and China has been formed to help enhance economic cooperation between the two countries.

This was stated by Omar Masood, central coordination secretary, Pakistan Millat Party, and a leading entrepreneur while speaking at a news conference here on Thursday.

Mr Omar had accompanied a delegation of businessmen and economic experts that visited China along with President Pervez Musharraf. Omar Masood briefed leaders of the Communist Party of China (CPC) about the business potential and economic opportunities in Pakistan. The both sides agreed to extend cooperation to each other through the PCEF.
