KARACHI, Nov 13: Three ships carrying palm oil and soyabean meals are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side for the second day in a row where seven ships were berthed.

They are: Corin Thaikos, Hyundai Strided, Hammurabi to unload and load containers, Thyi, to offload DAP fertilizer, Axion-L, to unload and load general cargo, Ilia to load molasses and S. Caboto to unload containers.

Four ships, Orient Stride, APL Shanghai, Chemical Supplier and Koriana, departed on Thursday, while Hyundai Stride, Emirates Peace, S. Caboto, Chembulk Yokohama, Hammurabi, and Axion-L are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of over 0.107m tons comprising 63,865 tons of import cargo and 43,711 tons of export tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Gulf Dove, with 8,500 tons of palm oil, Thor Mette, with general cargo and Mercs Kirinda, with 2,100 tons of soyabean meal.
