DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Nov 11: World Prisoners Relief Committee President Javed Ibrahim Paracha has failed to persuade Sufi Muhammad, president of the banned religious organization Tehrik Nafaz Shariat-i-Muhammad to submit bail application.

He met Sufi Muhammad in the central jail the other day.

Talking to newsmen, Mr Paracha said Sufi Muhammad was not ready to appear in any court as he did not recognize Pakistani courts and termed them unIslamic.

He also termed cases against him as false, Mr Paracha added.

He said Sufi Muhammad also rejected any deal with the government for his release.

Sufi Muhammad was arrested by tribal areas’ political administration on his return from Afghanistan during the US-led war on Afghanistan.
