Solidarity expressed with Riyadh

ISLAMABAD, Nov 11: President Gen Pervez Musharraf on Tuesday telephoned Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and expressed solidarity with the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia in the hour of their grief and sorrow.

During the 20-minute-long conversation, the president expressed anguish and pain over the Riyadh blast and offered condolences over the loss of innocent lives.

Strongly condemning the act of terrorism, President Musharraf said the people and the government of Pakistan supported Saudi Arabia.

The Crown Prince said Saudi Arabia highly valued its friendship with Pakistan.—APP
