KARACHI: Body found

KARACHI, Nov 11: Unknown persons killed a middleaged man, his body was recovered from the beach on Tuesday.

Police said that body of Abdul Rehman, 40, was buried beneath a pile of sand at the Clifton beach, with torture marks on it.

Police said that the victim hailed from Quetta; his body was shifted to the JPMC for the post-mortem examination.

INJURED: A young man was injured in an armed robbery in Joharabad on Tuesday.

Police said that after withdrawing Rs17,000 from a bank branch in Joharabad, Mehboob was returning home when he was intercepted by armed men. As he tried to resist them, the robbers shot him and fled with the cash.
