KARACHI, Nov 8: An entertaining opening partnership of 96 runs by Gohar Ali (58) and Mohibullah (44), steered Cantt Sports to six-wicket win over Mohammad Hussain CC in the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan league played on Saturday at the Aga Khan Gymkhana ground.
Mohammad Hussain CC, managed to score 152 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 25 overs through Azhar Gul (34), Mohammad Ali (33) and Jameel Nasir (28). Spinners Mehmood Hussain three for 22 and Jaffer Qureshi three for 26 were the main wicket-takers.
Cantt Sports achieved victory in 23.3 overs, reaching 153 runs for the loss of four wickets.
Sunday fixture: Pak Gymkhana vs Prince Gymkhana.
