Case against ASI on court order

SIALKOT, Nov 8: Saddar police registered on Saturday a case against an ASI on the orders of additional district and sessions judge.

Complainant Qari Ataullah told the judge that ASI Ashraf Bajwa forcibly entered his house, beat up his pregnant wife as a result of she miscarried and demolished the house.

He said when he went to the Saddar police station to lodge a complaint against the ASI, the police official kept him in illegal custody in the police station for three days.

The accused ASI has not yet been arrested.
