HYDERABAD, Nov 8: The University of Sindh has decided to start master degree classes in Sociology, Sindhi and Muslim History in the Zubeda Girls College and Government Girls College.

The decision to this effect was taken at a joint meeting of the affiliation committee and the consultative committee of the university held at the university campus in Jamshoro on Saturday.

A spokesman of the university told this reporter that the decision to start master classes in two colleges had been taken in the light of numerous applications from students and parents.

He said the meeting formed a committee to visit the colleges and check available facilities for teaching new disciplines in them.

EXAMS: The University of Sindh has announced that the college side annual examinations of 2003 are scheduled to be held from Dec 22.

The candidates who have appeared in the annual examination- 2002 or earlier but their result is still withheld due to different reasons have been advised to get their results declared up to Nov 15, failing which they shall not be allowed to fill the examination forms of annual examination-2003.

ADMISSION LIST: The University of Sindh announced on Saturday that the admission list of the candidates selected on merit for admissions to bachelors classes has been displayed at the notice boards at the SU Model School Hyderabad and administration block of the university in Jamshoro.
