KARACHI: Research labs open at KU

KARACHI, Nov 7: The extensive research laboratories of pharmaceutical science were inaugurated at the campus by the VC of Karachi University, Prof Dr Zafar Saeed Saify, on Friday.

He said these research labs were being equipped with state of the art equipment facilitating the researchers in discovering the treatment of diseases.

The VC was confident that these labs would extend help to pharmaceutical companies in the preparation of quality medicines at affordable prices.

He said that Karachi University is committed to extend all available resources for the development of faculties and for the quality education.

Prof. Saifi said that the university is currently engaged in establishing new research institutes and research labs and has also started offering job-oriented professional courses.—APP
