Nicol annexes Canadian title


EDMONTON, Nov 6: England’s Peter Nicol, top seeded World No1, beat his arch-rival, Jonathon Power of Canada, 15-13 17-15 15-7 in 70 minute final of Canadian Open Squash Championship in Edmonton.

The result brings Nicol to lead of 19-17 in a career long head-to-head record that started in last Canadian Open final in Burlington eight years ago. It is Nicol’s third victory over the Canadian in the past month.
