Eight teams for Ramazan tournament

KARACHI, Nov 6: Eight teams will be in action at the 14th Ramazan hockey festival tournament which starts from Sunday at UBL Sports Complex.

The tournament, being organized by former Pakistan captain Hanif Khan, will be played on league basis.

The outfits have been divided into two groups. Hameed Khan XI, Zubair XI, Abdur Rauf XI, Saghir Ahmad XI, have been placed in group ‘A’, while Munawwar-uz-Zaman XI, Gulfaraz Ahmad XI, Aziz Khan XI, and Sirajuddin XI, are in group ‘B’.

Gulfaraz XI meet Sirajuddin XI in the opener. Lt-Col Shaukat Ali Alvi will inaugurate the competition.
