LAHORE, Nov 6: The Indian Under-19 cricket team has decided to return home via Wagha border by bus on Friday instead of as originally scheduled, to leave Lahore for Hyderabad (India) via Karachi and Dubai on Saturday.

“The Indian team management requested us if they could cross into India via Wagha border. We requested the ministry of interior through home secretary, Punjab, who were kind enough to entertain our request,” a spokesman of the Pakistan Cricket Board said.

“We wanted to show and prove to the Indians our hospitality, respect and love for them.

The Indian team is going back after winning Under-19 Asian cricket tournament title when they defeated Sri Lanka in the final by eight wickets on Thursday.
