Opposition to protest in NA today

Published November 7, 2003

LAHORE, Nov 6: MMA deputy secretary-general Liaquat Baloch says the joint opposition will continue its protest on Friday in the National Assembly against the LFO and arrest of ARD president Javed Hashmi.

Speaking at corner meetings in the Gulberg area here on Thursday, he said the only solution to the ongoing constitutional crisis was presenting the constitutional amendment bill in parliament.

He said if the government failed to do so, the opposition would be left with no option but to go to the masses.
