KARACHI, Nov 6: Senior minister Syed Sardar Ahmed said on Thursday that the provincial government would provide 5,000 square yards space for parking buses to those transporter who owns at least 25 buses and in turn they would have to pay Rs1,500 per month per bus to the government.

Presiding over a meeting, the minister said the government would request the federal government to exempt buses from customs duty.

Moreover, he said, the issue of subsidy on mark-up could not be settled so far, therefore, the case would be referred to the law department.—PPI
