Fine bowling by Basit

KARACHI, Nov 4: A fine spell of spin bowling by Basit Ali Jr. helped Bed & Bath CC register a six-wicket triumph over Baqai Dolphins, in the 18th Karachi Gymkhana Ramazan festival on Tuesday.

Baqai Dolphins were bowled out for 135 runs in 23.3 overs. Nawab Alam top scored with 26. Basit Ali Junior four for 17, having a fine spell with the ball.

Bed & Bath reached the target of 136, losing four wickets off 20 overs. Usman (38), Nadeem Rao (37) and Basit Ali Jr. (30 n.o.), were in good nick with the willow.

Right-arm medium fast Talha Khan bagged two wickets for 25.

Wednesday’s fixture: Al Noor Gymkhana v Godhra Sports.
